a session with me is more than just refreshing your family photos.

You’re setting aside some time to be with your family, fully devoted to each other, connecting and loving, laughing and having fun. If only we could be this way with our family every day - totally, wholeheartedly - imagine what the world would be like for our children!

Our session might only last an hour or so, but the moments we create will last forever. You’re the family historian, and a family photography session is your way to preserve everything you love about your family, exactly as they are now, to be remembered 20, 50 or even 100 years from now!

natural, relaxed and fun

Choose to have your session in the comfort of your family home or at one of my favourite outdoor locations. As an Ocean Grove family photographer living by the beach, I specialise in sunset beach photography and have a few spots in Point Lonsdale, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads that make for the most beautiful backdrop and fun for the kids to explore. But wherever we are, I’ll make your session relaxed and enjoyable so we can capture your family’s energy and connection.

signature session

$800 includes your choice of 20 images to keep (plus the option to upgrade later if you want).

Every session includes as much time as we need (and kids will tolerate) so we can capture your family’s love, connection and all the in between moments (up to 3 hours), a comprehensive session prep guide (e-booklet) and access to my beautifully curated client wardrobe for Mums, babies and small kids.

$200 paid now secures your spot, and the balance is due the week leading up to your session. Payment plans available for session fees and upgrades.

FAQ

  • Yes, that’s when the magic happens. This means sessions can be after bedtime during the warmer months, but that hour before sunset is truly the most beautiful time of the day for photographs. Even if it’s cloudy! Yep, sunsets are even better with clouds, all we need is a little break in the clouds for the whole sky to light up! I offer sunset sessions at the most scenic beach locations, I promise, one late night will be worth it. Plus, I’ve got a bunch of tips to help the kiddos cope with an evening session in my Prep Guide.

  • Beautiful photographs can be made in any kind of weather, but I understand that there are some downsides to being photographed in the pouring rain or the freezing cold. I can and do reschedule sessions for inclement weather but am also happy to use your home if sticking to the schedule is a priority. There is no fee to reschedule your session due to bad weather.

  • Don’t stress if your child isn’t behaving the way you expected. Trust the process and let things unfold naturally. I totally get it though, sometimes the wheels fall off and it can get tricky, so I’ve covered some great ways to help the session go smoothly in my Prep Guide.

  • Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, best friends and everyone in between… I love big families!

If you’re happy to keep your session to the same duration (around 60-90 minutes) then there’s no extra charge to include more people. However, just keep in mind that more people will generally take more time to coordinate and so there will be less actual photographing time overall, and possibly less photos than you would have otherwise received if it was just your immediately family.

If you’d like more coverage time so we can capture more photos, then that’s totally doable too! I charge a small fee on top of the original session price. Be sure to let me know in advance how many adults and children and I will send you a quote. I generally ask for an extra $100 for every 30 additional minutes we add to your session.
