MOTHER’S DAY MINIS ARE STRICTLY FOR MUM AND CHILDREN ONLY.

If you’d like to include Dad and make it a family session, you should opt for a STORY session.

Every mini includes a 15 minute session and 5 digital images to keep (you’ll have around 20ish images to choose from) with the option to upgrade to keep more images if you love them and can’t decide!

Access to my Client Wardrobe is NOT offered for mini sessions.

Upgrade A for $150: includes an extra 5 images.

Upgrade B for $300: includes ALL your images and a $100 bonus store credit.

$100 paid now secures your spot, and the balance is due the week leading up to your session. Payment plans available.

FAQ

  • Booking is simple! When you’re ready to book, the link will take you to calendar where you can choose your session time for the spots available. Then you’ll be asked to fill in your details, sign some paperwork and pay a non-refundable retainer fee of $100. Shortly after that, you’ll receive a confirmation email and we’re all set!

The balance payment is due the week leading up to your session, but don’t worry if you forget, I’ll send you a friendly reminder just in case.

Mother’s Day Mini sessions are for Mums and their children only. If you’d like Nana to join in then YES please bring her along, just mention everyone who’ll be in your session in the questionnaire I send you so I can be prepared!

  • It’s your photoshoot so you can wear whatever you want. But for a more timeless look, I recommend choosing one or two earthy colours, then dress everyone in similar tones of the same colours mixed with neutral tones. Make it more interesting by adding different textures and layers, think chunky knits, and loose, flowy, natural fabrics like linen and cotton that will move with you. I love it most when you or one of your girls wears a pattern dress and everyone else matches to that dress. But most importantly, be yourselves so you feel comfortable and relaxed!

Avoid wearing all black, fluorescent colours and clothing with distracting characters, logos or writing on them.

Unfortunately access to my Client Wardrobe is NOT offered for Minis.

  • You’ll need to arrive at least 5 minutes before your session time, fully dressed and ready to be photographed. Sessions will run for strictly 15 minutes. There could be a session straight after yours, so it's important that you arrive on time otherwise your session time may be cut short so that we don't impact the next family's session, or you may miss your spot altogether. Once we start, you can relax and leave the rest up to me. It’s going to be fun for everyone, I promise!

  • Shortly after your session I’ll share some sneak peaks on my socials (with your permission of course), and then I'll reach out again about a week or so later when your gallery is ready for viewing.

After swooning over your images, you’ll decide how many images you want to keep (see the ‘Buy only what you want’ FAQ for Collection details) and then your Proofing Gallery will open ready for your selection.

    What is a Proofing Gallery?

The images you view in your Proofing Gallery are PROOFS only, which are smaller files with a very light edit. Your images still need to be individually edited and any necessary ‘healing’ (aka ‘photoshopping’) done before they become PRINTABLE FILES (which is what you’ve paid for).

After you’ve selected the images you want to keep, I'll sprinkle them with my magic and turn them into timeless images you'll love! In around 1-2 weeks, I’ll send you an email letting you know your final images are ready for downloading!

If this all sounds too complicated, don’t worry, I’ve prepared step by step instructions to walk you through the process!

  • After viewing your gallery, you’ll have the option to upgrade the value of your package to include more digital images (and score bonus store credit to use at my online store). But if you want to stick with what you’ve already paid for, you can do that too! There’s no obligation. You decide what fits your budget best!

The Base Package (what you pay for upfront) includes 5 images, then:

Upgrade A for $150: includes an extra 5 images.

Upgrade B for $300: includes ALL your images and a $100 bonus store credit.

  • You can pop back into your booking any time in the lead up to the session day and change your session time (subject to availability) or cancel your session. The retainer fee is non-refundable, but provided you cancel at least 24 hours before your session, any other payments you’ve made will be refunded to you.

I’m anticipating this year’s Mother’s Day Minis will sell out fast, so be sure to choose a time that works for your family as there might not be any availability if you change your mind later on.

  • I’ll be praying to weather gods for decent weather and an amazing sunset, but keep in mind, beautiful photographs can be made in any kind of weather!

Being an outdoor location there is always a chance the weather will be no good on the day of your session. Your session will go ahead unless it’s raining or very strong winds. That means we will still go ahead if it’s overcast. While we might not get the glowy golden vibes on a cloudy day, there’s some positives like beautiful flat light so your skin looks smooth and creamy, and we can shoot in any direction without worrying about casting unflattering shadows on your face.

I’ll communicate with you the week leading up to your session regarding the weather, and make a final decision on the day of your session.

If we can’t go ahead with your session due to bad weather, you can change your session to another date or time (subject to availability). If you can’t make an alternative date or time (or there are no sessions available), your retainer fee can be carried over to any advertised session within 3 years of the your first payment date. Any payments over your retainer fee can be refunded or carried over.

  • I’ll give you some tips on how to prepare your kids for a later session, but you know your kids best and if you’re still concerned your kids won’t be able to handle a later session you may want to consider my Studio Minis that will be held during the day.
